Quantabio Redefines Run Times and Workflows for qPCR and NGS Library Quantification
Quantabio Redefines Run Times and Workflows for qPCR and NGS Library Quantification American Society of Human Genetics Annual Meeting
Team to demonstrate run times for qPCR applications as low as 25 minutes and NGS library quantification as low as 32 minutes
BEVERLY, Mass. – Oct. 12, 2018 – Quantabio, a leading provider of robust DNA and RNA amplification reagents for the most demanding molecular testing and life science research applications, today announced its lineup of podium and poster presentations at the upcoming American Society of Human Genetics (ASHG) Annual Meeting in San Diego, California on Oct. 16-20, 2018. During the meeting, Quantabio will showcase the ultra-fast data acquisition capabilities and unrivaled performance of the Q qPCR cycler, along with its entire line of Sample Prep, PCR, RT-PCR, qPCR and NGS reagents at booth #1516.
During the presentations, Quantabio’s Senior Director of Research and Development, David Schuster, will demonstrate how the company’s technology is redefining qPCR and NGS library quantification workflows and run times. He will show how the compact Q cycler rapidly heats and cools samples to generate high-quality, real-time qPCR data in as little as 25 minutes, and how it combines with the company’s proprietary library quantification chemistries to enable run times as low as 32 minutes, which is up to a 60 percent improvement over conventional qPCR technology. Quantabio will also present scientific posters that highlight the company’s full portfolio of NGS sparQ DNA library preparation kits that feature single tube solutions to improve performance, workflows and costs.
